SunRisers Hyderabad have bagged the Northe Superchargers franchise in The Hundred. They beat a three-way competition, the contenders of which are still to be confirmed. The winning bid for the Yorkshire-run county was GBP 100 million. It is the sixth Hundred franchise sold by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Over the last few days, the English board has sold London Spirit, Oval Invincibles, Welsh Fire, Manchester Originals and Birmingham Phoenix. Two more teams of the eight-team 100-all competition - Trent Rockets and Southe Brave - are up for sale.
